Foundever first in PH to earn TESDA accreditation for CX training

Foundever has become the first company in the Philippines to receive a Certificate of Program Registration (CTPR) from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for its Customer Experience (CX) and Communications Training Level II program.

The accreditation makes Foundever a recognized partner under the government’s nationwide Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) framework, which aligns company-led training with national education standards. The program prepares participants for entry-level jobs in the information and communication technology and service sectors, focusing on customer interaction, complaint handling, and service delivery across voice and non-voice channels.

By aligning TESDA-approved curriculum, certified trainers, compliant training sites, and trainee monitoring with its own hiring process, Foundever said the program enables trainees to move more quickly from training to employment. The initiative supports the IT and business process management (IT-BPM) industry’s goal of building a steady pipeline of job-ready talent.

The certification was developed with guidance from the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), reinforcing efforts to address skills gaps in the country’s CX sector. In 2026, Foundever plans to train more than 2,900 individuals under the accredited program.

Training will be delivered through the Language Academy at Foundever, launched in 2022. Since its launch, the academy has trained 34,793 learners, recorded a 94 percent completion rate, and helped 34 percent of graduates move into CX roles.

The company’s education initiatives have also received national recognition, including a Merit Award for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Philippine Quill Awards hosted by the International Association of Business Communicators, and a bronze award at the HR Excellence Awards for Excellence in In-House Talent Pipeline Strategy.

Foundever’s Technopoint site in Pasig City is the first certified location under the program, with additional sites across the country undergoing accreditation. The company said the milestone strengthens its partnership with government and industry stakeholders to help build a more skilled and globally competitive Filipino workforce.

Foundever employs 150,000 people across more than 45 countries, providing customer experience, digital operations, and data solutions to global brands.
