BDO Unibank and 2GO Group have renewed their partnership to help overseas Filipinos stay connected with their families through discounted shipping and travel services.
Under the agreement, clients with a BDO Kabayan Savings account can receive 10 percent off shipments through 2GO Express and FedEx services and 20 percent off selected travel routes offered by 2GO.
Both companies said the partnership is aimed at supporting overseas Filipino workers and their families by making it easier and more affordable to send packages or travel home.
BDO senior vice president and head of BDO remittance Genie Gloria said the program is part of the bank’s effort to give back to Filipinos working abroad by helping make family connections and homecomings easier.
Meanwhile, 2GO vice president and head of retail Blessie Cruz said the partnership provides a more affordable way for Filipinos abroad to send packages or visit their loved ones, emphasizing safe, cost-effective, and enjoyable services.
The agreement ensures that the discounts will be available through 2026 and can be redeemed at 2GO outlets nationwide.
Both companies said the initiative aims to make it easier for overseas Filipinos to send balikbayan boxes or travel home, helping keep families connected despite the distance.
