Comm&Sense marks 20th year with mental wellness program

Public relations firm Comm&Sense is celebrating its 20th anniversary by launching a new initiative focused on mental health and community support.

Called RestART: Creative Arts for Healing, the program is a series of workshops aimed at helping vulnerable groups—including abuse survivors, orphans, senior citizens, and solo parents—cope with stress and improve well-being through creative activities.

Company president Andy Saracho said the initiative reflects the firm’s goal of combining business with social responsibility. Managing director Charlotte Reyes added that the program continues the company’s long-standing belief that communication can drive positive change.

The workshops will include dance, choir singing, yoga, and flower arrangement sessions, each led by professional facilitators and tailored to specific partner communities. An acting workshop is also being planned.

The program is being carried out in partnership with PhilCare, which will provide mental health counselors to support participants after each session.

Aside from RestART, the company is also launching “House of Talk,” a podcast platform that highlights stories from underserved groups such as the LGBTQ community and mothers.

Comm&Sense said the new initiatives are part of its efforts to expand its role beyond traditional public relations and contribute to social impact through creative and community-based programs.
