Ayala Land, Inc. is accelerating its presence in Cebu with three major mixed-use estates, signaling a bold move to capture the province’s next wave of tourism, commercial, and urban growth.
Building on the success of Cebu Business Park and Cebu I.T. Park, the property giant is developing Seagrove, Gatewalk Central, and South Coast City—master-planned estates aimed at strengthening its footprint across Metro Cebu’s key growth corridors.
The expansion comes amid rising investments in tourism, BPO, retail, and infrastructure, cementing Cebu’s position as one of the country’s fastest-growing regional economies.
“We are expanding strategically across Cebu City, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu. These will be our next growth centers, built on the proven blueprint of Cebu Business Park and Cebu I.T. Park,” said Jay Teodoro, head of VisMin Estates for Ayala Land Estates.
In Lapu-Lapu City, Seagrove is set to become Ayala Land’s first leisure estate in Cebu, featuring a coastal town center, boardwalk, and sustainability-focused design near resorts and Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
Gatewalk Central in Mandaue City is emerging as a commercial and lifestyle hub, anchored by an Ayala Malls complex slated to open in late 2026, alongside an office tower planned for 2027.
Meanwhile, South Coast City—a joint venture with SM Prime Holdings in Cebu City’s South Road Properties—is envisioned as a dynamic entertainment and business district, featuring the SM Arena, SMX Convention Center, hotels, offices, retail spaces, and a central park.
“Each estate is designed to drive specific economic activity while supporting Cebu’s long-term urban growth,” Teodoro added.
