Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) has sealed a 25-year lease deal with Heatcon Asia, Inc.—a key supplier to Boeing—to set up manufacturing, distribution, and aircraft composite repair facilities at the Clark Civil Aviation Complex.
Signed by CIAC chief Jojit Alcazar and Heatcon Asia president Howard Victor Banasky, the partnership is seen as a boost to the Philippines’ aerospace sector and aligns with government goals for high-value industrial growth. Alcazar said the investment strengthens Clark’s position as a top hub for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in Southeast Asia.
Heatcon, founded in 1978, makes specialized aviation equipment. Its new facility will serve as a regional hub for the Asia-Pacific market, supporting the firm’s global expansion. CIAC noted the deal advances its vision to turn Clark into a world-class aviation and logistics center under the Marcos administration.
