Allianz PNB Life is celebrating ten years of operation in the Philippines this year, marking a major milestone for the life insurance provider.
Company president and CEO Joseph Gross expressed gratitude to customers and stakeholders for their support over the past decade. He stated that the company’s core mission is to deliver “panatag” or peace of mind by ensuring the financial security of Filipino families. Gross emphasized that earning and maintaining customer trust remains the top priority, through consistent support and reliable service.
Allianz entered the Philippine market in 2016 through a partnership between global financial leader Allianz Group and one of the country’s established banking institutions, Philippine National Bank (PNB). Today, it has grown to become one of the leading life insurers in the country.
In 2025, the company recorded strong financial performance, with net income reaching ₱1.06 billion under Philippine Financial Reporting Standards. New business premium equivalent grew by 17 percent to ₱4.8 billion, exceeding industry averages. Since its launch, Allianz PNB Life has disbursed more than ₱6.1 billion in claims and policy benefits to assist families during challenging times.
Backed by the Allianz Group – one of the world’s largest insurers and asset managers present in over 70 countries – the company combines global expertise with local understanding. The group serves 97 million customers worldwide and was named the world’s number one insurance brand by Interbrand for seven consecutive years.
Locally, Allianz PNB Life operates a wide network of 295 accredited medical providers nationwide and has received Great Place to Work certification for three years in a row.
Looking ahead to its second decade of service, the company remains committed to expanding access to financial protection and continuing to earn the confidence of Filipino families.
