Maya will lower its InstaPay transfer fee to other banks and financial institutions from P15 to P10 beginning July 6, to make digital money transfers more affordable for users.
The reduced rate applies to all real-time InstaPay transactions, and will be updated automatically in the Maya app on the effective date. Transfers between Maya accounts, as well as bank transfers via PESONet, will remain free, following standard processing schedules.
The adjustment aligns with new rules from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). Under Memorandum M-2026-025 issued June 17, the Monetary Board ended a five-year moratorium on InstaPay and PESONet fees, allowing cost-based pricing alongside mandatory zero-fee policies for small merchant digital payments set out in Circular 1238. Maya said the move supports broader efforts to make digital financial services accessible to more Filipinos.
