LG Electronics has kicked off its 2026 “Life’s Good” campaign centered on the theme “Free up your mind,” showing how its AI-enabled solutions can take over routine tasks and help people focus on what matters most.
A new LG survey finds people carry the weight of mental load for the equivalent of 87 days each year, facing an average of 27 related interruptions daily. This invisible burden of constant information and small decisions often persists even during rest hours. More than half of those surveyed said it harms their sleep, while nearly half noted negative effects on their physical health.
Kim Hyo-eun, head of LG’s Brand Management Division, stated technology should help people reclaim their time and attention. This fourth edition of the campaign builds on previous releases, focusing on how modern life weighs on people’s minds and how innovation can help.
The campaign features a lead film showing a family enjoying unhurried time free from daily pressures, alongside product clips demonstrating how items such as the LG WashTower and OLED TVs can lighten daily demands. It also includes an interactive tool to help people identify their own sources of mental load.
Research shows unpaid household duties contribute more to this burden than paid work, and 73 percent of respondents believe suitable home technology can help ease it. Dr. Judith Joseph, a board-certified psychiatrist, noted smart solutions that reduce unseen daily pressures can support better well-being.
When asked what they would do with less mental load, most people chose simple, meaningful moments rather than more work or goals. The campaign reflects LG’s “Affectionate Intelligence” vision: technology that supports living well, not just doing more.
