UK Trade Minister Anas Sarwar visited Jollibee’s BGC Triangle Drive store in Taguig City this week, as part of his official trip to the Philippines.
He was welcomed by Jollibee Group Founder and Chairman Dr. Tony Tan Caktiong and Global Chief Business Support Officer William Tan Untiong. British Ambassador to the Philippines Sarah Hulton, OBE, joined the visit.
The group toured the store, met crew members, and viewed Jollibee’s well-loved menu—including Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, Champ Burger, Chicken Nuggets, and Peach Mango Pie. Minister Sarwar chatted with staff and customers, posed for photos, and received a special Jollibee Funko Pop figure dressed in Barong Tagalog.
This visit is the first by a UK Trade Minister to the Philippines in nine years. It underscores growing trade and bilateral ties between the two nations.
