FAST Logistics Group is looking to expand its presence in Cebu following its return to the Chiongbian family, sharpening its focus on the province as a base for strengthening supply chains and helping local businesses reach markets nationwide.
The Philippines’ largest third-party logistics (3PL) provider will bring together entrepreneurs, manufacturers, exporters and government officials at the FAST Logistics Solutions Forum 2026 on October 21 at Seda Ayala Center Cebu.
Themed “Cebu in Motion: Leveraging Logistics Solutions to Expand Business and Investment,” the forum will examine investment opportunities, barriers to business expansion and the logistics infrastructure needed to support regional growth.
The initiative signals renewed attention to Cebu, where FAST traces its roots to William Lines Inc., the Chiongbian family’s shipping business. Over more than five decades, the company has grown from its shipping origins into a nationwide logistics provider serving multinational corporations, conglomerates and emerging enterprises.
FAST plans to showcase its integrated service portfolio, spanning inland trucking, roll-on/roll-off shipping, sea and air freight, warehousing, inventory management, cold chain logistics and direct-to-store distribution. These capabilities are designed to address the varied transport and storage requirements of businesses operating across different markets.
The company will also explore partnerships with Cebu-based trucking operators to broaden its transport network, offering fleet owners accreditation and support programs.
For local enterprises, improved logistics connectivity could help reduce distribution bottlenecks, streamline deliveries and open access to customers beyond the Visayas. However, translating those opportunities into sustained growth will depend on the availability, reliability and cost-effectiveness of transport and supply chain services.
The forum provides a platform for businesses and public-sector stakeholders to discuss these challenges as Cebu seeks to attract investment and strengthen its role in regional commerce.
For FAST, the expansion push also marks an opportunity to deepen its presence in the market where its operations began. Its ability to connect local producers with wider distribution networks will be central to turning its renewed Cebu focus into tangible opportunities for regional businesses.
