The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), a member of the Ayala Group, has pledged its support for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources–Forest Management Bureau’s (DENR-FMB) “Forests for Life: 5 Million Trees by 2028” program. The initiative aims to plant at least five million indigenous forest trees across the country from 2025 to 2028.

The Philippine Geothermal Production Company, Inc. (PGPC) has launched an ambitious environmental initiative to plant over one million trees in seven provinces across Luzon over the next five years. The reforestation program will cover more than 1,200 hectares, targeting areas around PGPC’s geothermal steam fields.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) reported a notable increase in compliance with the country's solid waste management laws, with 328 local government units (LGUs) securing approved 10-year Solid Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) from July 2022 to June 2025.
