PLDT Enterprise, the business arm of the country’s largest telecommunications provider, announced an expanded partnership with Kalibo Cable Television Network, Inc. to provide advanced data center solutions and dedicated connectivity for businesses in Aklan and other areas in the Visayas.
The collaboration underscores PLDT Enterprise’s commitment to support the digital transformation and business continuity of its clients through state-of-the-art technology.
“Our expanded collaboration with Kalibo Cable is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-performance environments for our clients’ critical IT infrastructure,” Mitch Locsin, first vice president and head of Enterprise and International Core Business at PLDT and Smart, said.
“With our colocation and Metro E-Line services, we are setting new standards for reliability, scalability, and security in digital infrastructure,” he added.
Since 2011, PLDT Enterprise has proven a trusted partner of Kalibo Cable Television Network, Inc., the first and only cable provider in the region to offer triple play services. Triple play relates to voice, data and video services.
Building on this strong foundation, the partnership took a leap forward with Kalibo Cable Television Network, Inc.’s adoption of VITRO Internet Exchange (VIX) and colocation services from VITRO Inc., the data center subsidiary of PLDT’s ICT arm, ePLDT, a move that exemplifies their mutual commitment to innovation and excellence in service delivery.
