Filinvest Land Inc., the property development arm of the Gotianun Group, said Wednesday its office business unit Filinvest Cyberparks Inc. recently won the bid for the lease of office space to house the main office of the National Bureau of Investigation. The bid is part of NBI’s forthcoming relocation to prime office spaces within Filinvest Cyberzone Bay City in Pasay City.
Under the terms of the agreement, the NBI will occupy nine floors across two buildings within the FCBC complex, totaling 23,595 square meters of gross leasable area. FCI topped 10 other bidders by submitting the lowest calculated quotation, meeting all requirements specified in the bidding documents after thorough inspection and evaluation.
NBI officially issued the Notice to Proceed on 24 June 2024 following a final site inspection led by NBI’s newly appointed Director, retired Judge Jaime Santiago. The bidding was conducted in March.
The allocated office spaces for the NBI include the 3rd to 9th floors of Building C and the 8th and 9th floors of Building D within the FCBC complex. Additionally, FCBC will provide 464 parking slots to ensure convenient access for NBI personnel and visitors.
“We are honored by NBI’s decision to select Filinvest as their office provider,” said FLI president and CEO Tristan Las Marias. “This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting government initiatives aimed at enhancing public service delivery for the Filipino people.”
NBI chief Santiago expressed confidence that the move to FCBC will significantly enhance the bureau’s operational capabilities in investigation, intelligence, and forensics, ensuring seamless service to the public.
FCBC, a four-building mixed-use development strategically located along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City, boasts excellent connectivity to major thoroughfares such as EDSA, Roxas Boulevard, and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard. The complex features advanced amenities including high-density telecommunications provisions, N+1 emergency backup power, redundant power cabling provisions, and comprehensive fire safety measures, earning it a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver Certification for core and shell construction.
With this new partnership with NBI, FLI continues to reinforce its role as a trusted partner in nation-building, dedicated to fulfilling its core purpose of contributing to the Filipino dream through impactful developments and strategic collaborations with key government agencies.
