Nokia, the Espoo, Finland-headquartered communications and information technology firm who pioneered the 3G broadcast standard, on Monday committed in joint venture with PLDT Enterprise to provide 5G private wireless network solutions to businesses in the Philippines.
The partnership will help organizations across industries as mining, port operations, and manufacturing to leverage 5G technology to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
Nokia’s leading solutions and proven expertise in 5G will allow PLDT Enterprise to expand its service portfolio to support customers with new solutions.
PLDT is expanding its wireless network reach not just for individuals but also for enterprises. Nokia’s global expertise and experience in building 5G private networks will help PLDT Enterprise support its customers. It has deployed private wireless solutions for over 730 customers worldwide. 5G private wireless networks enable enterprises to build dedicated, secure, high-bandwidth, and ultra-low-latency networks for real-time Industry 4.0 applications.
In collaboration with Smart Communications, PLDT Enterprise provides network connectivity that supports the digital transformation of businesses in the Philippines.
