Philippine Airlines (PAL) has rolled out a fare structure considered its lowest yet on select international and domestic destinations to attract more passengers.
The Lucio Tan-led airline said the Ultimate Seat Sale runs only from 30 August to 20 September this year.
“Fares are as low as $73 round trip base fare for international travel, and P209 one-way base fare for domestic. Travel period is from 30 August 2024 onwards,” PAL said.
PAL’s seat sale allows passengers to book and fly immediately or plan the travel for later, all while benefiting from competitive prices.
Meanwhile, PAL renewed its partnership with SMAC (SM Advantage Card) for its Mabuhay Miles, the airline’s frequent flyer program.
The alliance, which started in June 2022, brings together the two largest loyalty programs in the country.
“This partnership represents more than just a synergy between two esteemed brands; it signifies a commitment to enhancing the lives and experience of our loyal customers, setting a new benchmark for the industry,” Capt. Stanley K. Ng, PAL president and chief operating officer, said.
“As we embark on this renewed journey together, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making this partnership a reality,” he added.
“We are grateful to have found a partner in PAL Mabuhay Miles that shares our values and dedication to providing the best services and fostering customer loyalty,” SMAC chief operating officer Kevin Hartigan-Go said.
The new partnership also introduces an improved conversion rate where members can enjoy increased value with their SMAC Points and Mabuhay Miles. Effective 1 September this year, the SMAC Points to Mabuhay Miles and vice versa conversion structure will be higher. This will allow the members to shop more and fly more.
