Philippine Airlines (PAL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Mastercard to offer exclusive discounts to holders of Philippine-issued Mastercard credit, debit, and prepaid cards. The collaboration is designed to incentivize both domestic and international travel, while contributing to sustainability efforts in the Philippines.
Under the terms of the agreement, Mastercard cardholders can enjoy a 10 percent discount on international flights and a 20 percent discount on domestic flights (base fares only) when booking through PAL’s official website or mobile app. The offer is available until 13 April 2025, and allows travelers to make multiple bookings with the use of a special promo code. The travel period for international flights spans from 1 April to 30 November 2025, while domestic travel is eligible from 1 June to 30 November 2025.
To claim the discounts, cardholders must input their card’s bank identification number (BIN), which is the first six digits of the card, in the promo code space during checkout.
This partnership goes beyond travel benefits. As part of Mastercard’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, a portion of every transaction made under this offer—estimated between USD6 to USD8 per booking—will be directed to the Priceless Planet Coalition (PPC). The PPC’s official beneficiary, Conservation International, will use the funds to support tree planting efforts in a designated area in the Philippines, furthering Mastercard’s environmental initiatives in the region.
The collaboration between PAL and Mastercard highlights the growing intersection of travel incentives and environmental responsibility, offering both commercial and ecological value to travelers and the wider community.
