Globe Telecom, announced a leadership change following its annual stockholders’ meeting Tuesday.
Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala has stepped down as chairman after nearly 30 years in the role. The company said Cezar P. Consing has been elected as the new chairman during the board’s organizational meeting.
Globe said the transition is part of its ongoing development as a digital telecommunications company. It added that the change in leadership is expected to maintain strategic continuity under the new chairman.
