Ayala Land, Inc. is ramping up Vermosa in Cavite as a premier destination for active, healthy living through a new partnership with the Philippine Tennis Center for Excellence, Inc. (PTCEI), formalized last month.
The collaboration will establish a world-class International Tennis Center within the estate, serving as the official home of the Philippine Tennis Academy (PTA). This move aligns with Vermosa’s long-term vision as a future-ready, integrated community designed for living, learning, and connectivity.
Founded by Filipino philanthropists including Oscar Hilado and Romeo Chan, PTA has been a cornerstone of grassroots sports development, producing national medalists, international-level athletes, and scholar-athletes. The academy emphasizes widening access for young talents, especially from underserved communities.
At the heart of the partnership is the PTA International Tennis Center, a high-performance facility featuring eight competition courts, a center court, and 16 pickleball courts. Additional amenities include dedicated training and wellness areas, as well as Athletes’ Quarters capable of housing 60–80 trainees.
While the center will serve as PTA’s main training hub, it will also open its doors to the public, expanding access to professional courts, coaching, and development programs for tennis and pickleball. This inclusive approach is expected to strengthen the sport’s grassroots pipeline nationwide.
The new facility enhances the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, reinforcing its role as a national venue for training, competition, and community engagement. It further cements Vermosa’s identity as a sports ecosystem that merges elite training with community-level accessibility.
“Partnering with PTA reflects our commitment to long-term value creation by combining education, sports, and community development,” said John Estacio, Vermosa’s senior project development head.
PTA leadership emphasized that the facility aims to do more than train elite athletes—it will serve as a platform for inclusion and talent discovery, providing more Filipinos access to structured tennis programs and advancement opportunities.
This project is part of Vermosa’s broader strategy to attract strategic partners and develop a multi-use estate that fosters both nation-building and athletic growth.
