The Department of Energy (DOE) announced Monday the various fuel companies may implement varying price adjustments for the week starting June 29, 2026. Under the latest guidelines, gasoline prices can decrease by ₱0.10 per liter or increase by up to ₱1.90 per liter, while diesel prices may drop by ₱1.16 or rise by up to ₱0.84 per liter. Kerosene prices meanwhile can go down by ₱0.78 or increase by up to ₱1.22 per liter.
Last week recorded deeper price cuts, with gasoline prices falling between ₱3.90 and ₱5.90 per liter, and significant cuts also applied on diesel and kerosene. As of posting, no fuel companies have released their official price adjustments for the current week. As of June 26, fuel prices in the National Capital Region average ₱72.00 per liter for RON 91 gasoline, ₱69.10 per liter for diesel, and ₱97.50 per liter for kerosene.
On the supply front, the total national fuel supply is seen to last 41.16 days, slightly lower than the 43.86 days recorded on June 19. Gasoline supply dropped to 42.19 days from 43.75 days, and diesel supply decreased to 37.66 days from 40.42 days. Kerosene supply rose to 212.41 days from 128.96 days, while jet fuel inventory increased to 70.83 days from 68.30 days. Fuel oil supply fell to 27.87 days from 38.21 days, and LPG supply decreased to 35.75 days from 42.86 days.
DOE undersecretary Alessandro Sales stated that current supply levels reflect stable global market conditions that support price stability. He explained that the slight decline in inventory shows industry expectation of slower price decreases, leading companies to delay fuel replenishment. The agency added that it will continuously monitor the situation and is prepared to take action should any intervention become necessary.
