Globe’s Hapag Movement wins two international awards, exceeds hunger relief targets

Globe’s Hapag Movement, its nationwide drive to end involuntary hunger, has taken home two honors at the Marketing Interactive PR Asia Awards in Singapore.

The program earned Silver for Best CSR Program for its balanced approach of food aid, livelihood support and nutrition education, while Globe’s in-house communications team won Bronze for leading the effort independently.

Launched in 2022, the initiative has already helped over 150,000 families—surpassing its original goal of 100,000.

More than 1.2 million subscribers have chipped in using their Rewards points, with results including better school attendance in Basilan and higher earnings for indigenous farmers.

Moving forward, the program will focus on reducing child stunting. Donations can be made through the GlobeOne app under Rewards.
