Aboitiz Foundation deepens ties with LMP and TESDA to scale community development and employment pathways

Aboitiz Foundation is deepening partnerships with the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to expand education, livelihood, and sustainability programs nationwide.

Working with LMP, the foundation will deploy flagship initiatives AuroraPH, Elevate AIDA, and CarbonPH across municipalities, with LMP serving as bridge to identify priority sites, coordinate rollout, and secure local support. AuroraPH delivers power and digital learning to underserved schools, Elevate AIDA and AIDA Plus build digital skills for livelihoods, and CarbonPH advances nature-based environmental resilience.

“Municipalities are where development is most directly felt. Connecting local governments with programs turns national goals into tangible opportunities,” said LMP national president Hon. Faustino “Inno” Dy V. In parallel, the foundation formalized an expanded AIDA Plus partnership with TESDA Region VII, Cebu Call Center Academy, and Visayan Electric under a new Memorandum of Agreement. Building on Elevate AIDA, the collaboration strengthens the skills-to-employment pipeline, aligning training with industry needs for job-ready, future-ready skills

“Government and industry working together equip Filipinos with relevant skills and meaningful pathways to the digital economy,” said TESDA VII regional director Gamaliel B. Vicente Jr. Led by Aboitiz Foundation president Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar, the two partnerships combine government reach and private-sector expertise to scale proven solutions, broadening access to education, jobs, and resilient communities across the country.
