    STI Holdings 6-month earnings surge on strong enrollment growth

    STI Holdings Inc., the listed owner of the largest private school network in the country, reported net profit in the six months to December more than doubled to P517.8 million from P223.2 million in the year-earlier period, bolstered by strong enrollment growth.

    Revenue between July and December surged 36 percent year-on-year to P1.92 billion.

    STI said total enrollment for school year 2023-2024 rose 27 percent to around 119,543 students, with 103,982 enrolled in schools operted by the STI Education Services Group. The rest are either students of iACADEMY or STI WNU.

    In the three months ended December, STI Holdings saw revenue rise 39 percent to P1.3 billion while net profit for the period almost doubled to P498.1 million.
