The Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to enhance its domestic connectivity with the introduction of daily flights between Manila and Cauayan, Isabela, beginning 15 January 2025. This new route aims to cater to tourists, business travelers, and families venturing to Northern Luzon.
Rabbi Vincent Ang, president of PAL Express, emphasized the airline’s commitment to regional development: “We welcome 2025 with our new Manila-Cauayan-Manila service. Philippine Airlines looks forward to serving the people of Isabela province with daily flights as our latest investment in building connectivity between key cities in Luzon for the benefit of local tourism and economic growth.”
Cauayan serves as a gateway to Isabela, a province known for its vibrant agricultural sector, rich culture, and popular festivals such as the annual Bambanti and Gawagaway-yan events. The daily flights will be operated using 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, providing a convenient travel option for passengers.
These flights will also connect travelers to a broader array of domestic and international destinations PAL offers from its Manila hub, further enhancing accessibility to the region. The expansion reflects PAL’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its domestic footprint and support local economies through improved air travel options.
