VITRO Inc., the data center arm of the PLDT Group and a subsidiary of ePLDT, on Monday announced its partnership with HGC Global Communications Limited (HGC), a prominent ICT service provider.
The collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for high-speed and reliable data center connectivity in the Philippines.
“We warmly welcome HGC to VITRO Sta. Rosa’s telco ecosystem and the VITRO Partner Network,” said Gary F. Ignacio, VITRO chief commercial officer. He said the partnership will unlock new possibilities for VITRO and expand its reach through HGC’s global network.
As part of the alliance, HGC officially joined the VITRO Partner Network (VPN), a strategic coalition of carriers, system integrators, and technology firms. This enhances HGC’s presence at VITRO Sta. Rosa, recognized as the largest and first true hyperscale-grade data center in the Philippines. The expansion will enable HGC to provide comprehensive services tailored to the evolving needs of businesses in the region, particularly for hyperscalers and enterprises co-located at VITRO Sta. Rosa.
The collaboration combines the strengths of both companies to create an ecosystem that enhances data center connectivity and solidifies HGC’s position in the rapidly growing Philippine technology and digital infrastructure market. By integrating VITRO’s advanced infrastructure with HGC’s extensive global network, the partnership aims to deliver superior connectivity options for colocation customers.
