Keepers posts profit surge, declares dividend

The Keepers Holdings Inc., the listed liquor distributor of billionaire Lucio Co, posted a 21 percent increase in net income to P3.54 billion driven primarily by strong sales from the imported brandy segment, particularly Alfonso, which continues to dominate the market and has now exceeded pre-pandemic performance levels.

Consolidated revenues for the year rose 14 percent to P18.5 billion, propelled by a 14 percent increase in case volumes. The rebound of on-premise consumption and ongoing premiumization of consumer preferences contributed to this upward trajectory, reinforcing Keepers’ leadership in the high-growth spirits market.

In line with its solid performance, Keepers’ board approved a 50 percent regular dividend payout, translating to P0.12 per share or a total of P1.77 billion. Shareholders of record as of May 6, 2025, will receive the dividend, which reflects a 4.8 percent yield. The payout will be drawn from the company’s unrestricted retained earnings as of 31 December 2024.

Keepers continues to capitalize on its exclusive distribution of iconic global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Chivas Regal, Glenfiddich, Suntory, Jinro, Jose Cuervo, Jim Beam, Penfolds, and Red Bull. With over two decades of market presence, the company remains well-positioned to grow in step with evolving consumer demand and a recovering hospitality sector.
