Century Pacific leverages supply chain gains for price rollback

Century Pacific Food Inc. (CPFI) will implement a ₱1.00 price rollback on all Ligo and 555 sardines starting July this year, citing gains from cost-efficiency measures and a strengthened value chain.

“This is part of our commitment to ease the burden on consumers while maintaining product quality through value chain optimization,” said Ronald M. Agoncillo, vice president and general manager of CPFI Sardines.

The rollback follows the company’s recognition at the 2025 Tambuli Awards for its Sustenido Bulan initiative, which promotes sustainable fishing and inclusive growth in Bulan, Sorsogon. The program has boosted local incomes, reduced waste, and contributed to a more resilient sardine supply chain—supporting both social impact and profitable brand growth.

CPFI also extended its Kain Po feeding program to over 1,000 children in the region, reinforcing its dual commitment to community welfare and business sustainability.
