NutriAsia migrates core systems to cloud in major digital shift

NutriAsia, the country’s leading manufacturer of condiments and sauces, has successfully migrated its core enterprise systems to the cloud, marking a major milestone in its digital transformation journey. Leveraging RISE with SAP and deploying on Microsoft Azure, the initiative is set to significantly strengthen NutriAsia’s operational agility, scalability, and data capabilities—critical for maintaining its competitive edge in the fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.

The project, executed in partnership with Delaware Philippines, a certified SAP partner and ICT solutions provider, included the migration of NutriAsia’s SAP ECC, SAP Business Warehouse, BusinessObjects BI Suite, and SAP Data Services to a modern cloud infrastructure.

“This project was a key step in our ongoing journey towards digital transformation and sustainable growth,” said Angie Flaminiano, NutriAsia president and COO. “By migrating our SAP ECC system to the cloud through RISE with SAP and leveraging Azure, we’ve established a more scalable and resilient infrastructure for NutriAsia’s operations.”

The shift comes as NutriAsia continues to grow its footprint in over 100 markets, supported by complex sales and distribution networks. With evolving consumer expectations and industry dynamics, the cloud transformation is intended to future-proof the company’s systems, ensuring real-time data access, scalable analytics, and improved system reliability.

“This migration was a cornerstone of our digital transformation,” added Vergel Villacorta, head of IT and digital transformation. “It enhances our infrastructure with cloud capabilities, improves system accessibility, and supports our digital roadmap for continued innovation.”

From a consumer perspective, this backend transformation enables NutriAsia to be more responsive to market demands, ensuring better product availability, faster decision-making, and improved customer service outcomes.

Delaware Philippines provided full lifecycle support—planning, architecture, integration, validation, and training—ensuring the transition caused minimal disruption to business operations.

“Our combined efforts have enabled a successful migration to a cloud-based infrastructure, laying the foundation for operational excellence and paving the way for future innovation,” said Rosette Carrao, managing director at Delaware Philippines.

With the food and beverage sector rapidly evolving, this collaboration reflects how digital innovation is no longer optional but essential for sustained growth. By embracing cloud ERP, NutriAsia sets a benchmark in the Philippine FMCG space—combining technology, strategy, and scalability to meet the demands of both today and tomorrow.
