The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) has partnered with Singapore-based aviation companies to advance the development of the Clark International Aviation Campus, a strategic step in transforming Clark into the Philippines’ premier aviation and logistics hub.
During the Asia-Pacific Conference and Exhibition on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) held in Singapore from September 16–19, CIAC president and CEO Joseph Alcazar signed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with Dviation Training Centre, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University–Asia (ERAU-Asia), and ST Engineering Urban Solutions Ltd.
“Aviation in Singapore is a key component of its successful economy, and we’re fortunate to forge mutually beneficial relationships with leading institutions here,” Alcazar said, emphasizing the partnerships’ role in knowledge-sharing and capacity-building under CIAC’s Seven Flagship Projects.
The agreement with Dviation Training Centre, represented by CEO Ibnu Hidayat Ishak, focuses on aviation training and development. Dviation provides integrated aviation services, including aircraft acquisition and technical support.
Alcazar also signed an MOU with ST Engineering Urban Solutions Ltd., led by president Gareth Tang, to explore the deployment of smart city and aviation technologies at the Clark aviation complex, aiming to enhance infrastructure with sustainable and intelligent systems.
ERAU-Asia, represented by vice chancellor Matthew Flaherty, entered into an agreement to collaborate on aviation education, training, and workforce development. The institution is globally recognized for its specialization in aerospace and aviation programs.
“These partnerships affirm CIAC’s commitment to building strong ties with global industry leaders to advance Clark’s role as a leading aviation hub in the Philippines,” Alcazar added.
The Clark International Aviation Campus is part of the broader Clark Aviation Capital, which includes Clark International Airport, Clark Global City, and over 60 aviation, logistics, and manufacturing locators. Managed by CIAC, the complex is being positioned as the country’s foremost aviation and logistics center.
