SM Investments Corporation has earned its 17th consecutive Platinum Award at The Asset Corporate Sustainability Leadership Awards, organized by Hong Kong-based The Asset Publishing and Research Ltd. Its banking subsidiary, BDO Unibank Inc., also received a Platinum Award for sustainability performance.
Beyond sustainability, SM Investments was recognized with the Best Investor Relations Team Award for its digital engagement efforts. Both SM Investments and BDO also received the Best Sustainability Team Awards, highlighting their strong stakeholder engagement and ESG initiatives.
President and CEO Frederic C. DyBuncio said the awards reflect the group’s commitment to sustainability, spanning green financing, waste and water management, energy efficiency, and governance.
Awardees were selected through a rigorous peer-benchmarked review process by The Asset’s Editorial Board.
