    Philippines and Japan unveil logo for 2026 Friendship Year

    The official logo for the 2026 Philippines-Japan Friendship Year, marking 70 years of diplomatic ties, has been revealed. Designed by Edmon Fuerte of Baguio, the logo features intertwined Japanese and Filipino ropes, symbolizing strong bilateral friendship. Fuerte wins a business class flight to Japan, and the logo will be used in all 2026 commemorative events.
