    Helioway Pours P200M Into Batangas

China-based Helioway Precision Hardware (Phils) Corp. is investing more than P200 million in a new precision manufacturing facility in Batangas, marking its formal entry into the Philippines’ export sector after signing a registration agreement with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.

The agreement, signed on February 25 at the PEZA head office, registers Helioway as a PEZA-registered business enterprise. The status allows the company to operate within the country’s incentives-based economic zone system and positions it for export-driven growth.

Helioway will set up operations at the Lima Technology Center–Special Economic Zone in Malvar, Batangas. The facility will manufacture camera frames, printer die casting parts, projector frames, servo motors, and related precision components. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin in August 2026.

The project is expected to generate more than 140 direct jobs, strengthening local employment and expanding supplier networks in the electronics and imaging components segment. The investment also reinforces Batangas’ standing as a key manufacturing hub south of Manila.

PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga welcomed the project, saying Helioway’s registration further supports the Philippines’ position as a trusted base for high value, export-oriented manufacturing in Asia.

The new facility aligns with ongoing shifts in global supply chains, as manufacturers seek diversified production locations in Southeast Asia. By attracting technology-focused and export-oriented firms, PEZA aims to boost exports, create quality jobs, and drive long-term industrial growth.

With construction moving forward and operations targeted next year, Helioway’s Batangas plant signals continued investor confidence in the Philippines’ manufacturing sector.
