Fixxxy puts a digital spin on fixing things

In a world where dinner, rides, and groceries arrive with a few taps on a phone, one young Filipino founder is asking a different kind of convenience question. Why shouldn’t repairs work the same way?

On February 17, the first day of the Lunar calendar’s Year of the Horse, Gen Z entrepreneur Jullian Myles Anisco quietly launched Fixxxy, an online platform designed to make shoe and bag repair as effortless as ordering delivery.

The idea behind Fixxxy is simple. Instead of searching for a neighborhood cobbler or carving out time to visit a repair shop, customers can book everything online.

Through the web app www.fixxxy.app, users select a service, schedule a pickup, and have their restored items returned to their doorstep. Pickup and return delivery come free with every order, turning what used to be an errand into a few quick taps.

For Anisco, the gap between modern convenience and traditional repair had been hiding in plain sight.

“Gen Z genuinely cares about sustainability,” he said. “But we also expect things to happen on our terms. Online, on demand, and without extra steps. Fixxxy brings those ideas together.”

The insight came from watching how younger consumers live. This is a generation that orders meals, books rides, and manages finances through apps. Yet when a favorite pair of shoes needs new soles or a bag strap breaks, the process still relies on wandering through markets or hoping to find a repair shop nearby.

Fixxxy aims to bring that centuries-old craft into the rhythm of modern life. Instead of replacing worn items, customers can restore them with the same ease as ordering food delivery.

The environmental case for repair is just as compelling. The global footwear industry produces billions of pairs of shoes every year, many of which end up in landfills after minor damage that could easily be fixed.

By making repair simple and accessible, Fixxxy encourages consumers to extend the life of the items they already own. The approach places the startup within the growing circular economy movement, where keeping products in use longer becomes both practical and sustainable.

For Anisco, the mission is refreshingly straightforward. Use technology to give a centuries-old trade a modern upgrade and make repair feel less like a chore and more like the obvious choice.
