Global logistics firm DHL Express has opened a new service point at Manila Light Rail Transit Line 1’s Redemptorist Station, strengthening its push to bring international shipping closer to Metro Manila’s daily commuters and small businesses.
The newly-launched facility replaces DHL’s previous Gateway and Baclaran Station service points, offering a larger and more customer-friendly space while preserving convenient access for longtime users of the company’s LRT-based shipping network.
Located inside the station at Space Red-M-RR3, the service point allows customers to send, drop off or process parcels while commuting or visiting nearby commercial districts. With thousands of passengers passing through the station daily, the location is expected to attract entrepreneurs, online sellers and individuals who need quick access to global shipping services.
“This move to the LRT Redemptorist Station helps us bring our services even closer to customers,” said Nigel Lockett. “We are well-positioned to help connect Filipino MSMEs and individual shippers to the global market with greater ease, with the highest standard of customer service excellence.”
The site’s proximity to the Department of Foreign Affairs also makes it convenient for customers sending time-sensitive documents abroad, including visa applications, academic records, notarized papers and passport renewal requirements.
With many travelers and overseas Filipino workers passing through the area, the new hub is expected to support faster and more secure delivery of urgent documents to international destinations.
The Redemptorist Station facility joins DHL Express’ network of more than 291 locations across the Philippines, reinforcing the company’s strategy to expand cross-border logistics access in high-traffic urban corridors as demand for reliable global shipping continues to rise.
