The First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP), represented by Ricky Carandang, has been elected external vice president of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) – Tanauan City Chapter.
The election took place during the chapter’s first official meeting on March 26, 2026, held at Tanauan City Hall.
Carandang, who serves as FPIP’s vice president for marketing, external affairs, and communications, said the role will help the private sector work with government to attract investments, grow businesses, and create jobs.
The PCCI-Tanauan chapter aims to provide a platform for businesses to engage with the local government on economic policies and investment concerns. The meeting was organized by the city’s Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office and attended by officials and business leaders. Sonny Perez Collantes was represented by City Administrator Ferdinand Perez.
Newly elected chapter president Cristine Collantes said the group will support efforts to build an inclusive and business-friendly environment, strengthen small businesses, and promote trade and investment.
Other officers elected include Marcial V. Goguanco Jr. as internal vice president, Janine Jimena-Perez as secretary, and Gloidan Mia Papas as treasurer.
FPIP is a major industrial hub in Tanauan, hosting over 150 companies and employing more than 80,000 workers in export and domestic industries.
