A new partnership has been formed to improve respiratory care services at Mayor Hilario A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center (MHARSMC), the largest government-run hospital in the city.
Medical Services of America (Philippines), Inc. (MSAPH) will supply mechanical ventilators to the hospital, supporting patients who need breathing assistance. The equipment will be used for adults, children, and newborns, including infants requiring specialized respiratory care.
Aside from providing ventilators, MSAPH will also offer technical and clinical support. Its team of respiratory therapists and biomedical engineers will handle setup, maintenance, and on-site assistance to ensure the equipment works properly and safely.
Hospital officials said the partnership will strengthen their ability to deliver quality care, especially in critical and intensive care units, and align with Department of Health standards.
MSAPH is a healthcare company that provides cardiopulmonary services, equipment rental, and maintenance to hospitals across the country. It also has a homecare division that supports patients outside hospital settings.
The parties said the collaboration aims to expand access to advanced medical technology and improve patient outcomes in Ozamiz City and nearby areas.
