Oracle NetSuite launches new AI tools for Southeast Asia businesses

Oracle NetSuite introduced in Manila on Tuesday a range of new artificial intelligence (AI) features aimed at helping businesses in Southeast Asia improve efficiency and grow faster.

The company also announced NetSuite Next, the next version of its cloud-based enterprise system, which is expected to roll out across ASEAN countries within the next 12 months.

James Chisham, vice president of product management, said many organizations in the region are still working out how to use AI effectively. He said the new tools are designed to make AI easier to adopt while improving productivity and decision-making.

The updates focus on automating work, improving data insights, and simplifying business processes. NetSuite Next introduces built-in AI across finance, operations, and customer management, including a natural language tool called “Ask Oracle” that allows users to search, analyze, and act on data more easily.

The company also launched an AI Connector Service that allows businesses to link NetSuite with different AI models while controlling how their data is accessed and used. This includes tools to help standardize AI use across teams and ensure more consistent results.

New analytics capabilities expand AI access beyond core business data to include historical and third-party information, helping companies improve forecasting and overall analysis. Additional features aim to detect issues in financial and operational data early, enabling businesses to respond more quickly and reduce risk.

For companies with subscription-based models, new tools provide real-time tracking of performance and revenue using AI-driven insights. Developers will also benefit from a new AI assistant designed to speed up coding, testing, and system customization.

Most of the new AI features are already available in English for customers in ASEAN, while NetSuite Next is set to launch across the region within the next year.
