Manila Water has been included in the Top 10 companies of the ATRAM Philippine Sustainable Development and Growth Fund after a review of firms based on sustainability performance.
The fund, managed by ATR Asset Management Group, evaluates companies using a framework aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It focuses on businesses whose operations and long-term plans contribute to sustainability while aiming for stable financial returns.
In its latest assessment, ATRAM cited Manila Water’s efforts in energy management, employee development, and infrastructure investments to improve service reliability.
A company official said the recognition reflects how sustainability is integrated into its planning and decision-making, especially in resource management and service delivery.
The recognition comes after Manila Water released its 2025 integrated report, which highlights water security as a key priority. The report outlines initiatives such as protecting water sources, building climate-resilient infrastructure, and improving systems to support long-term growth.
