Bounty Fresh Group Holdings has strengthened its foothold in the poultry sector through the acquisition of Warhawk, a leading gamefowl feed brand, now officially part of its subsidiary, Inoza Feeds.
The move represents a strategic expansion of the company’s specialty feed portfolio, reinforcing its position across the animal nutrition and agricultural value chain. Financial details of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
The integration of Warhawk is intended to enhance consistency, quality, and performance throughout Bounty’s farming ecosystem. By incorporating the brand into its fully integrated operating model—which spans breeding, feed production, and broiler operations—the company aims to provide farmers and distributors with more reliable nutrition solutions while boosting operational efficiency.
“This acquisition isn’t just about owning a brand; it’s about reigniting a legacy,” said Polo Ablazo, general manager for commercial feeds at Bounty Fresh. “We are stepping forward bolder, sharper, and more deliberate than ever.”
The formal launch of Warhawk coincided with the 12th anniversary of Inoza Feeds, an event attended by farmers, distributors, and industry stakeholders. Bounty emphasized that the celebration highlighted its commitment to long-term partnerships in the agriculture sector and its support for the growth of local producers.
Bounty Fresh also noted that the success of the acquisition will depend on effective integration, with plans to leverage Warhawk’s expertise to drive innovation in feed development and deliver more consistent results to farmers.
The move is expected to deepen the company’s presence in the specialty feeds market and advance its broader goal of building a more integrated and competitive agribusiness network.
Although gamefowls account for less than 1 percent of the country’s annual chicken production, they command prices more than ten times higher per pound than other poultry, as they are primarily raised for entertainment and sport rather than for consumption.
During the five quarters when electronic sabong was licensed by the Philippine Games and Amusement Corp.—from the second quarter of 2021 to the second quarter of 2022—total gaming revenue reached P5.74 billion, a figure that Senate hearings suggest may be understated.
With Warhawk now under its wing, Bounty Fresh signals a renewed commitment to advancing the Philippine farming landscape, helping poultry producers and gamefowl enthusiasts achieve higher productivity through science-driven nutrition.
