Diversified engineering conglomerate DMCI Holdings Inc. posted a consolidated net income of P4.9 billion in the first quarter of 2026, down slightly from P5.0 billion a year ago.
The decline was cushioned by stronger contributions from real estate, nickel mining, off-grid power, and cement businesses, offsetting weaker results from the integrated energy segment and lower effective contribution from associate Maynilad Water Services, Inc.
“Our diversified portfolio continued to provide stability despite uneven market conditions,” said DMCI Holdings chairman and president Isidro A. Consunji. “While some businesses face near-term pressures, we see encouraging performance across our units.”
Semirara Mining and Power Corp. remained the group’s largest contributor with P2.2 billion, down 13 percent from P2.5 billion due to weaker plant performance and lower coal shipments.
DMCI Homes generated P1.3 billion, up three percent from P1.2 billion, supported by stronger residential revenues and higher rental income.
Maynilad delivered P714 million, down 23 percent from P926 million, as lower effective ownership post-IPO offset improved operating performance.
DMCI Mining posted P440 million, up eight percent from P409 million, following higher shipments after the Long Point mine began commercial operations in March 2026.
DMCI Power rose 12 percent to P302 million from P270 million, supported by higher energy sales and capacity expansions. D.M. Consunji, Inc. recorded P47 million, down six percent, while Concreat Holdings Philippines narrowed its net loss by 63 percent to P203 million, benefiting from higher sales volumes and improved efficiency.
The Board declared a regular cash dividend of P0.30 per share, totaling approximately P4.0 billion, equivalent to 27 percent of the company’s 2025 core net income of P14.9 billion. Shareholders on record as of May 21, are entitled to dividends, with an ex-dividend date of May 20, and payment on June 5.
The Board emphasized balancing shareholder returns with funding needs for growth opportunities.
