Metro Pasay Hospital and Medical Center, Inc. has teamed up with PLDT Enterprise to boost its digital infrastructure, aiming for smoother operations and better patient care. Under the deal, the hospital now uses PLDT’s iGate and SIP Trunk solutions for stable internet connection and organized call handling, ensuring systems can grow along with patient numbers and needs.
Hospital medical director Dr. Samuel Vincent Yrastorza praised the partnership, noting that PLDT understood their needs and delivered dependable, future-ready tools with strong support. PLDT Enterprise’s Shiela Garcia explained that reliable communication is vital in healthcare, where even small delays can disrupt workflows, so stability and scalability were top priorities in designing the setup.
The new system lets the hospital handle more inquiries without slowing down services, aligning with its goal to provide expert, compassionate care using modern facilities and technology. PLDT Enterprise’s Dennis Magbatoc added that the collaboration supports healthcare providers in focusing on what matters most: quality patient care.
