Jollibee Group expands inclusive hiring with Taguig City

The Jollibee Group has broadened its employment program for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) through a new agreement with the Taguig City Government. Sixteen company-owned outlets—covering Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, and Burger King—will join, with each store set to hire two seniors and one PWD.

Launched in 2019, the initiative has already provided work to over 1,000 qualified individuals nationwide. Under the partnership, the city government will handle recruitment, initial screening, medical checks, permits, and information support, while Jollibee will provide final interviews, training, and free payroll accounts. Assignments will focus on lobby roles such as order assistance and guest relations.

Company leaders say the program goes beyond providing income, aiming to foster dignity, confidence, and a sense of belonging. The collaboration also forms part of Jollibee’s sustainability goal to build inclusive workplaces and support local communities.
