Global digital business services provider TP is deepening its investment in the Philippines with the opening of its 29th local site, reinforcing confidence in the country’s position as a leading hub for IT-business process management (IT-BPM) and AI-enabled customer experience services.
The company will open its newest facility at the Four E-Com Center in the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City, with operations set to begin in September following the signing of an agreement between TP in the Philippines Chief Executive Officer Rahul Jolly and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Director General Tereso Panga.
The expansion is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs, adding to the sector’s role as one of the country’s largest generators of high-value employment.
Jolly said the investment reflects TP’s continued confidence in Filipino talent and the Philippines’ competitiveness as a global delivery center for digital business services. The expansion also coincides with the company’s 30th year of operations in the country, underscoring its long-term commitment to growing alongside the local IT-BPM industry.
The Pasay project marks TP’s third expansion announcement in less than a year, signaling sustained demand from multinational clients seeking technology-driven customer experience, business process outsourcing and AI-powered services.
The move comes as the Philippine IT-BPM sector continues to evolve beyond traditional voice services toward higher-value digital solutions, analytics and artificial intelligence, allowing operators to capture more sophisticated global contracts.
For PEZA, the investment is another vote of confidence in the country’s business environment despite intensifying competition from other outsourcing destinations.
Panga said the agency remains committed to supporting TP’s expansion through investor-friendly policies, improved infrastructure and close collaboration with industry stakeholders to generate more quality jobs for Filipinos.
The new facility will complement TP’s existing operations at the MAAX Building within the Mall of Asia complex, where more than 5,000 employees are already based. Together, the two sites will further strengthen one of TP’s largest operating hubs in the Philippines as the company continues to scale its digital and AI capabilities.
