Converge tops DICT Q2 broadband rankings

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. posted the Philippines’ best fixed broadband performance in the second quarter, according to the DICT’s latest Oplan Bantay Signal report. The provider recorded the fastest download speed at 158 Mbps, lowest latency at just 5 milliseconds, and saw customer complaints drop 84 percent from January to June. No Converge-served area fell below the 15 Mbps minimum speed threshold.

DICT Secretary Henry Aguda noted the results show Converge is delivering on targeted network improvements. The firm also earned the “Bayani sa Last Mile” award for connecting remote communities, and was named “Best Internet,” “Fastest Internet,” and “Best Fixed Latency” provider by Ookla for the first half of 2026. Converge runs the country’s largest fiber-to-the-home network, spanning over 960,000 fiber kilometers as of May 2026.
