ATRAM, DragonFi expand Filipino access to global investments

ATRAM Trust Corp. and DragonFi Securities Inc. have partnered to widen Filipino investors’ access to professionally managed investment products, including funds offering exposure to international markets.

Under the strategic partnership, DragonFi will serve as an institutional trust agent of ATRAM, combining its digital investment platform with ATRAM’s expertise as an independent asset and wealth manager.

The tie-up comes as more Filipino investors look beyond traditional investments for opportunities overseas. Nearly two-thirds of investments sourced through the DragonFi platform have gone to the ATRAM Nasdaq Equity Opportunity Feeder Fund, making it one of the platform’s most popular global investment offerings.

The strong demand points to growing appetite for international market exposure, particularly among investors seeking access to technology and innovation-driven companies.

“We’re seeing more Filipinos take an active role in growing their wealth and exploring investment opportunities beyond traditional options,” said Andrew Caw, chief marketing officer of ATRAM.

He said the partnership would make professionally managed investment solutions available to a broader investor base, while the popularity of global funds reflects rising interest in international investing.

DragonFi CEO Jon Lim said investors were increasingly seeking alternatives that provide easier access to global markets.

“Our partnership with ATRAM allows us to combine DragonFi’s technology-driven platform with ATRAM’s investment management expertise, giving our clients a broader range of solutions in one seamless investing experience,” Lim said.

The partnership also reflects the financial industry’s broader shift toward digital distribution, allowing investors to access investment products through platforms that can simplify traditionally complex processes.

ATRAM and DragonFi said the collaboration would also support financial literacy and inclusion by making sophisticated investment opportunities easier to understand and access.

For Filipino investors, the partnership could lower some of the barriers to global investing while giving digital platforms a larger role in connecting local savings with international markets.
