Filinvest Land Inc., the property development arm of the Gotianun group, has partnered with Mercato Centrale, an outdoor food market operator, for the operation of a food park in two of its shopping malls south of Manila.
The food parks are located in Festival Mall Alabang in Muntinlupa and Filinvest’s Fora Mall Tagaytay that opens in September, the company said.
Mercato Centrale at Festival Mall Alabang operates from 4pm to 10pm, Thursdays to Sundays through end of the year. Its food park in Tagaytay will open for business on 4 September through 31 March next year.
“Lifemalls by Filinvest has consistently shown strong support for both business growth and community development, which is why we’re delighted to collaborate with them. This provides us with an opportunity to continue our advocacy of supporting micro and small food enterprises,” RJ Ledesma, Mercato Centrale founder Ledesma, said.
The food festival by Mercato Centrale offers a unique dining experience at Festival Mall with live music performances. Food booths of up to 20 are located at the mall’s Water Garden Park offering diverse cuisines including Korean, Japanese, Indian, and Middle Eastern.
Mercato Centrale serves as incubator for micro and small food business enterprises, helping them navigate the business environment in the new normal.
Filinvest’s shopping malls include the Festival Mall in Alabang, Main Square in Bacoor, Fora in Tagaytay and IL Corso in Cebu.
