For the fourth week in a series, the oil companies recalibrate their pumps to reflect the latest adjustments in the price of petroleum products just after midnight Tuesday.
Seaoil and Caltex Philippines Inc. increased the per liter price by P0.50 for gasoline, P4 per liter for diesel and P2.75 per liter for kerosene.
PTT, Clean Fuel, Jetti and Phoenix Petroleum also adjusted their price schedule by P0.50 for gasoline and by P4 for diesel.
The price hike is the biggest adjustment for diesel this year.
Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show the price per liter of gasoline (RON95) at P68.80, diesel at P57.15 and kerosene at P69.93 as of 25 July.
Data also show year-to-date adjustments as of 2 August as a net increase of P3.10 per liter for diesel, P11 per liter for gasoline but a net reduction of P0.10 per liter for kerosene.
