Movem Electric, Inc., the wholly-owned green mobility subsidiary of Meralco, has installed a new electric vehicle (EV) charging station at the Pacific Star Building, a high-rise structure in Makati City managed by Century Properties Management, Inc. (CPMI), a subsidiary of Century Properties Group.
Movem turned over a 22kw AC Type 2 charger that supports various brands of four-wheeled EVs.
Present during the turnover ceremony were Meralco Real Estate Industry lead Darryl N. Francisco, CPMI Group Projects Operations head Margarita R. Bautista, Movem Electric chief operating officer Maria Francesca C. Defensor, CPMI senior vice president for Operations, Marketing and Support Services, Streisand C. Tuason, and CPMI president and CEO Rafael G. Yaptinchay.
The partnership with CPMI forms part of Movem and Meralco’s support to the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act through the provision of end-to-end EV and charging infrastructure solutions for institutional customers and the riding public. One Meralco is committed to enabling and supporting the country’s transition towards cleaner and more sustainable transport systems.
