Singapore’s Jetstar Asia has restarted services at Clark International Airport after a two-year absence, this time offering even more options for budget-conscious flyers.
The low-cost carrier’s fleet of Airbus A320s will operate four return services each week between Singapore and Clark, which will increase to five return services starting 18 October this year. The expansion will offer more than 90,000 low-fare seats between the destinations each year.
“Clark serves as an important hub for both business and leisure travellers, and we are excited to offer more travel options for our customers,” Geoffrey Lui, Jetstar Asia chief operating officer, said.
“With so many reasons to visit Clark, our crew and our passengers have been looking forward to our return to this popular destination. It’s great to add Clark back to our network,” he added.
Noel Manankil, president and chief executive at the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp., said the resumption of Jetstar operations at Clark will bring comfort and flexibility to the passengers.
Clark in 2023 reported serving nearly two million passengers who opted for the ease and convenience the facility offers and a substantial increase of 158 percent from 2022 numbers.
