Over 500K Meralco customers without power due to Kristine

Manila Electric Co. said that as of early Thursday around 535,000 customers of the power distributor are affected by power outages caused by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine. Most of those without electricity supply are in the provinces of Cavite and Laguna. There are also some in parts of Rizal, Quezon, Batangas, while the rest are in Metro Manila and Bulacan. Meralco said it is working nonstop to immediately restore power in affected areas.
