Holcim PH, Megawide forge major supply deal for 2025 projects

Holcim Philippines, Inc. has secured a supply agreement with Megawide Construction Corporation to deliver over 400,000 metric tons of aggregates for major construction projects in 2025. The partnership, which expands Holcim’s role from the Apalit batching plant to meeting 70 percent of Megawide’s aggregate needs across multiple sites, includes key developments such as the Apalit, Ortigas, and Phirst Park projects.

Sajith Edirisuriya, Holcim’s SVP and head of commercial, emphasized the company’s commitment to advancing the Philippines’ infrastructure, while Rexford Ilagan, AVP for Megawide’s ready-mix concrete division, expressed gratitude for Holcim’s role in successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects.

The agreement builds on a strong, long-standing relationship between the two firms, dating back to 2016. Holcim also supplies cement and other materials for Megawide’s precast and construction solutions. This new deal underscores Holcim’s position as a reliable partner in the country’s construction and infrastructure growth.
